These six cartridges are high quality, low cost alternatives to Whirlpool WHKF-GD05 and 3M Aqua-Pure AP110. 5 micron dirt rating with raised grooves for longer service life and an 8 gallon per minute flow rate.

Replace the cartridge every 3–6 months or upon substantial pressure reduction. This kit includes six KW110 grooved 5 micron water filter cartridges and one O-ring. The KW110 cartridge is designed to fit Whirlpool filter models WHKF-DWH and WHKF-DWHV.

The rigid polypropylene cartridge uses closely spun construction to reduce dirt and sediment with flow rates of up to 8 gallons per minute. Each cartridge contains two distinct micron layers.

To put the 5 micron rating in perspective, the naked human eye can see down to about 20 micron and a human hair is roughly 100 micron in diameter. Larger particles are retained near the exterior and progressively finer particles toward the filter core.

This gives the cartridge exceptional solids-holding capacity for longer service life. The raised groove design optimizes dirt holding capability, making this an ideal choice for the value conscious consumer.
